A street-legal Hybrid beam
The main difference between the CR-3 Hybridand the CR-3 Spotlies in the light distribution.
While the Spot concentrates the beam as much as possible to achieve the greatest distance, the Hybrid optic offers a wider distribution, better suited for long-range road use.
Above all, Vision X confirms that this configuration is ECE High-Beam as well as SAE/DOT High-Beam approved, unlike the Spot optic intended for maximizing range.
320 meters at 1 lux with a pair
Each CR-3 Hybrid develops 2,100 lumens for only 36 W.
One light reaches approximately 221 m at 1 lux. With two lights, the combined raw luminous flux reaches 4,200 lumensand the range increases to approximately 320 m at 1 lux.
The range is intentionally lower than that of the Spot version, but the light is distributed over a wider area.
Spot or Hybrid: two different uses
The Cannon Race 3 range therefore allows you to truly choose your optic according to its use:
Spot:priority on maximum range, with up to 582 m at 1 lux as a pair.
Hybrid:wider beam, with 320 m at 1 lux as a pair, and above all an ECE-approved High-Beam opticfor road use.
Since the CR-3 lenses are interchangeable, the design also allows for the light configuration to be upgraded later on.
Particularly compact format
With a width of only 9 cm, the CR-3 can easily be integrated into a grille, a bumper, or any installation where a traditional long-range light would be too bulky.
The housing benefits from IP68/IP69Kprotection, and Vision X describes it as submersible and waterproof, suitable for harsh off-road environments.
