The principle of the traditional rotating beacon with an LED source

The Optitech was developed to maintain the characteristic operation of a traditional rotating beaconwhile replacing the halogen bulb with an LED source.

Unlike an LED beacon that uses only a succession of flashes, the Optitech generates a genuine, exceptionally smooth rotating sweep.

You thus retain the immediately identifiable visual effect of a mechanical beacon while benefiting from the reliability and longevity of LED technology.

6 high-power 5 W LEDs

The Optitech uses 6 5 W LEDs, for a total power of 30 W.

They are combined with a specific reflector opticdesigned to efficiently utilize the light during rotation.

Vision X announces visibility twice the SAE standardand a visual range comparable to that of a 55 to 70 Whalogen beacon.

Stepper motor

Rotation is provided by a stepper motor, chosen for reliable, smooth, and silent operation.

This is an important point for the Optitech: the movement of the light is actually part of the product's operation and is not simply simulated electronically.

Robust and waterproof construction

The lens is made of polycarbonate, while the base uses a robust die-cast aluminumconstruction.

The beacon is fully sealed and benefits from IP67protection, suitable for regular use on professional vehicles exposed to water, dust, and outdoor conditions.

Protection against polarity reversalis also integrated.

ECE R65 Homologation

This amber version is ECE R65 TA2compliant, according to the provided Vision X documentation.

With its 10–33 Vpower supply, it can be installed on many 12 V or 24 V professional vehicles: utility vehicles, heavy goods vehicles, agricultural machinery, construction vehicles, or equipment requiring amber signaling.
