A beam specifically developed for fog lights

The CR-4 does not simply use standard flood optics. Vision X has developed a lens designed to produce a very wide fog beam with a sharp light cutoff.

With two lights, the beam reaches 137 m in length and 91 m in width at 1 lux. The light is thus distributed primarily on the road and the shoulders rather than concentrated at a very long distance.

Selective Yellow Lens

This version features the selective yellow lensoffered as standard by Vision X.

The yellow tint provides a different visual contrast compared to white lighting in certain difficult conditions such as fog, rain, dust, or snow. It also gives the CR-4 a distinctive visual signature, particularly appreciated on 4x4 builds.

Road Homologation

The CR-4 fog beam is announced by Vision X as ECE as well as SAE/DOT approved.

This is an important point: despite its compact size and design adapted for off-road use, it is indeed a light developed around an approved fog beam, and not just a universal flood pod.

2,800 lumens per light

Each CR-4 develops 40 W and 2,800 raw lumens. A pair therefore represents 80 W and 5,600 raw lumens.

However, the product's effectiveness relies as much on its beam geometry as on its luminous flux: the goal is to distribute light over a particularly wide area in front of the vehicle.

Construction adapted for difficult conditions

The front face is made of polycarbonate, a material chosen to resist impacts while avoiding the corrosion problems of a metal face.

The housing benefits from IP68/IP69Kprotection, suitable for vehicles regularly exposed to water, mud, and high-pressure washing.
